A Limestone man said that $6,000 cash was taken from his pickup truck while it was parked in Greeneville Thursday night.
The Oakdale Drive North man said that his Ford pickup was outside a shop in the 300 block of Locust Street from 7:00 to 11:00 Thursday night while he was working at the address. When the victim went to leave, he noticed that the sliding back glass on the truck was cracked open.
The man said several items were missing from the vehicle, including a wallet with $6,000 cash, a check book and insurance cards. Several tools were also stolen from the back seat of the vehicle.
Greeneville police responded to the scene and reported that several cameras were at the shop, but no suspicious activity was found during an investigation.
