Items Stolen From Woman's Room

A Greeneville woman said that items were removed from her room sometime overnight Monday, according to police.

The victim said she went to work around 10:15 Monday night from the home in the 400 block of South McKee Street. The woman said three other people were at the house when she left. When she returned around 7:45 Tuesday morning, she noticed that the lock to her room had been picked and several items were missing from a safe under her bed. The woman added that the belongings of the three other people in the home had been removed.

Among the missing items from the safe were jewelry and pocket knives, and also gone from house were a Kindle tablet, tools, an extension ladder, the key to a scooter and food. Total value of the missing items is more than $650.
