Appeals Filed In Lillelid Murders

Six teenagers are appealing their life sentences for gunning down the Lillelid family in Greene County last year.

Crystal Sturgill, Natasha Cornett and Karen Howell are all doing time at the Tennessee Women's Prison in Nashville. They maintain their innocence in the April 1997 crime, and say the did not realize what they were doing when they pleaded guilty. The three young men, Jason Bryant, Joe Risner and Dean Mullins are also appealing their life sentences.
