Psychologist Testifies In Custody Hearing

The custody hearing for two year old Peter Lillelid continues this morning in Knoxville. In testimony Saturday, a clinical psychologist testified that the boy would be better suited raised by his paternal aunt and her family in Sweden. Dr. Diane McCoy, an independent witness, testified that she based her opinion on analysis of seventeen factors determined critical to the issue of guardianship of the boy. Peter Lillelid was the only survivor of the April 6th shootings near Baileyton which took the lives of his father, mother, and sister. Chancellor Frederick McDonald will hear a third day of testimony in the case today to settle the dispute between Peter's paternal and maternal family members.
