Karen Howell Post Conviction Hearing Continues Thursday

The Post Conviction Relief hearing for Karen Howell will continue Thursday in Greene County Criminal Court.

Testimony in the case began Tuesday before Judge James Beckner. Howell and five others pled guilty to the 1997 shooting deaths of the Lillelid family on an isolated Greene County road.

Karen Howell, her father, and brother testified during the hearing on Tuesday.

Dave Leonard, who represented Howell in the original trial, will be back on the witness stand when the hearing continues Thursday at 9 AM.
