In obedience to Judgments/Orders of
the Chancery Court at Greeneville, Tennessee, in the
above-styled case, I will on
Friday, the 4th day of April, 2025, beginning at
5:30
p.m.,
ONLINE & ON THE PREMISES,
SELL, without the
right of redemption or equity of redemption and subject to the
Judgments/Orders entered in the above captioned cause, to the
best and highest bidder, the real property, described in the
corresponding papers, filed in the above referenced cause and
specifically, at least, pursuant to the ORDER TO SELL REAL
PROPERTY AND MOBILE HOME (entered 06/26/2024) and ORDER (entered
09/24/2024).
SITUATE in the 1st Civil District of
Greene County, Tennessee, and more particularly described as
follows. BEGINNING at a point on the Morgantown
Road thence in line with Shelton, South 17 deg. 33.40 min West
370.27 feet to a point, corner to Shanks and Shelton: thence in
line with Shanks, South 55 deg. 25 min. East 123.00 feet to a
point, corner to Shanks and Shanks thence in line with Shanks:
South 17 deg. 15 min. West 363.06 feet to a point, corner to
Shanks and Morgantown Road: thence in line with the Morgantown
Road North 58 deg. 54 min. West 123.00 feet to the point of
BEGINNING, containing 1.0 acres, more or less, and according to
survey of Joseph G. McCoy dated April 15, 1991. THIS CONVEYANCE is expressly made
subject to any and all restrictions, reservations, and
conditions contained in former deeds to said property. BEING the same property conveyed to
James Norton, Jr., and wife, Margaret Norton, by Warranty Deed
from Raymond Boyd Caldwell and wife, Ollie Sue Caldwell, dated
March 17, 2004, and which is of record in Deed Book 358A, page
117, in the Register’s Office for Greene County, Tennessee.
Margaret Norton predeceased her husband having died on
August 16, 2016.
James Norton, Jr., died testate on November 15, 2022, and his
Last Will and Testament has been duly probated in Probate File
No. 2023-PR-176, in the Clerk & Master’s Office for Greene
County, Tennessee.
Also, see Order to Sell Real Property and Mobile Home appointing
Bland Justis, Clerk & Master, as Special Commissioner. Conveyed as part of the realty is a
Manufactured Home.
