  In obedience to Judgments/Orders of the Chancery Court at Greeneville, Tennessee, via a public online tax sale on December 29, 2022 (Thursday), at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time, various delinquent tax tracts/parcels of real estate will be sold to the best and highest bidder(s).  The names of owners, the amount of the respective debt, and the description of the property are being stated hereinbelow.

Said online delinquent tax auction will be a live bid auction, conducted pursuant to T.C.A. 67-5-2501(a)(1) and T.C.A. 67-5-2410(d) and hosted by GovEase, via the following website: http://www.govease.com/auctions.  This website will allow bidders to submit bids and view auction results.

ONLINE BIDDER REGISTRATION will open: November 30, 2022.  Online webinar training is currently available at www.govease.com/help.

TERMS OF SALE

Sales will be made subject to the equity of redemption, with payment facilitated, online, by GovEase.

The lands against which the said Judgments/Orders have been entered or will be entered are the subject of a lien and will be sold separately.  Said sales are being made for the purpose of satisfying the terms of the Judgments for 2016 County and City real property taxes; same being the amount of tax [inclusive of subsequent years’ taxes, if any, that have been turned over to the Clerk and Master, interest, fees, and costs, including an online charge and an additional $100 dollars (pursuant to TCA 8-21-401(b)(1)(F), plus additional costs], as of the month of said sale, against the said respective tracts/parcels of land.

*Redemption period, possibly as short as 180 days in length, as determined by the Court [pursuant to TCA 67-5-2701(a)].

** Publication costs are at a pro rata amount for the charge by The Greeneville Sun, now, known at $63.33 per parcel.

            In the event the hereinbelow tracts/parcels have been the subject of a prior years’ delinquent property tax lawsuit, the Clerk and Master defers to the previous tax attorney(s).
